GRID
Member Terms and Conditions
By verbally becoming a member of the GRID the artist is inherently agreeing
to the promotional philosophy and nature of the GRID, and is giving
the GRID permission (a) to post a link to the members website or web
page on the GRID website, (b) to post a streaming version only of one
of the member’s songs on the GRID website(s) if the GRID so chooses,
and (c) to post any pictures of the member performing at GRID showcases
only on the GRID website. If the GRID posts a member’s song or
picture on the GRID website, members understand that the GRID has permission
to post the said pictures and songs on the GRID’s other promotional
web pages (including but limited to Mypsace, Do512.com, and Facebook).
For information on rights and privacy please see the privacy notice
below.
The
nature of obtaining GRID membership is through networking with other
GRID members and eventually through the GRID's verbal permission. When
this verbal permission is given to the artist I am always personally
aware of it and I have always personally spoken with the artist and
obtained explicit verbal persmission from them to list them as a member.
After these permissions are exchanged the artist is then listed as a
member on the GRID website. If an artist no longer wishes to be a GRID
member and/or if they feel there was a miscommunication of ANY kind
leading up to being posted on the GRID website as a member against their
wishes or intentions, it is the artist's responsability to contact the
GRID to have their name removed from the members' list. The GRID furthermore
accepts no liability for the miscommunication, or for posting the artist
name as a member. Conversely, if an artist feels verbal permission was
given and feels that the GRID neglected to represent them as a member
it is the artist's responability to contact the GRID to have their name
added to the members list.
Please
note that the GRID reserves the right to deny or cease membership to
any artist or performer at our discretion if we feel they represent
the GRID negatively or if they stop promoting themselves.
